Freda Mae Cooper Brenneman, 85, of Greenville, strongly and confidently walked into heaven and was welcomed by her loving Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 17, 2016.
Born March 19, 1931 in Portersville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Lena Stickle Cooper. Freda was retired from Bob Jones University where she faithfully served in Accounts Payable for 31 years.
Gracious, kind, loving, selfless; these are a few of the attributes that describe Freda and her life. She always had a smile for everyone she met. She lived with pain, and never wanted to burden anyone. Even during her last weeks she would smile and be gracious for any assistance she received. The med techs and nurses loved her and always commented on her sweet attitude. Freda was a quiet lady who loved her family deeply and prayed earnestly for each family member. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great grandma who always helped each and every family member in any way that she could.
She is survived by her daughters Sandy (Les) Wagner of Kansas City, KS; Flo (Cal) Mair of Brevard, NC; Patty (Tim) Good of Taylors, SC and her son, Sam (Laura) Brenneman of Travelers Rest, SC. In addition, she is survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Thelma English of New Castle, PA and Lois Croup of Harlansburg, PA.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Portersville Bible Church, Portersville, PA. The service will be at 11:00 with the Rev. Michael Charles officiating. Interment will be in Portersville Bible Church Cemetery. (156 E Portersville Rd., Portersville, PA 16051)
