Franklin Flagg Newcomb, Jr., 83, died at home on June 3, 2018. Born in Montgomery, AL, he was the son of the late Franklin Flagg Newcomb and Dorothy Rinehart. He graduated from the University of Chicago, and was in the US Army from 1959-1961, having served in Germany. He is survived by his wife, Elaine.
