Frankie David Culpepper, 63, husband of Catherine (Cathy) B Culpepper, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
Born January 16, 1956, in Greenville, he was the son of the late Frank Delano Culpepper.
In addition to his wife of 28 years, he is survived by his mother, Joyce Epps of Greenville; two daughters, Karen Dunbar of Spartanburg and Cherie Toney, of Westerly, RI; two sons, Davie Culpepper of Pickens and Matthew Culpepper (Kristi) Culpepper of Greenville; a brother, Gary Culpepper of Greenville; a niece, Leslie Culpepper of Greenville; 12 grandchildren.
He was a 2005 graduate of Greenville Technical College with honors. He was a diehard Clemson fan, NASCAR fan and fisherman. He loved to brighten everyone’s day with a smile or a joke. He was protective and kind hearted. Always willing to listen and offer advice. He loved animals and his sweet dog Buster his “top dog and little man”.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Westville Chapel, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, 29611. Frankie has requested people dress casual because he wasn’t a dress up guy.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or charity of one’s choice.
