Francisco Santos Rivera (Papi) passed unexpectedly on May 9, 2023, at the age of 68.
Francisco was born on March 9, 1955, to Andrea Rivera Gonzales and Ramon Santos Otero in Monrovis,
Puerto Rico. Francisco moved to Massachusetts when he was 18 years old to better his life. Francisco had
an impressive work ethic. He worked for twenty-plus years at Hampshire Fabrics. He most recently
worked at Winchester Hospital before retiring. Francisco had a love for his family that was unmatched
always working multiple jobs to support and better his family. He was always willing to help others and
put his family first. He was a busybody always getting into something.
Francisco's love for his family was deep, they were most important to him. He always carried a photo of
his wife Dawn Marie Cehlar Santos in his wallet from when they first met. He often times cried when
showing off his wife's photo to people. He was very proud to have her as his wife. He had an infectious
personality and was deeply loved by everyone. He was surely taken too soon and will be deeply missed.
Francisco is survived by his beautiful wife Dawn Marie Cehlar Santos of 41 years. His children Adelaida
Santos and her children, Francisco Santos Jr and his wife Kathy of Clayton NC. Antonio Santos Sr. and his wife Crystal of Nashua NH, Damien Santos Sr., and Danielle of Lawrence Ma. Luis Santos of Nashua NH. Dimitri Santos and his wife Amanda of Manchester NH.
Francisco is survived by his grandchildren TJ, Jillian, Arianna, Xavier, Gabriel, Luna, Eldon, Enzo, Elias,
Jayden, Kaleb, Alani, Kalea, Lil Luis, Brooklyn, Nikali, Hawk, Natalia, Deanna, Damien Jr, and Dominic as
well as many nieces and nephews.
Francisco's Brothers and sisters include Domingo Santos, Fredy Santos, Laura Santos, Jorge Santos, Luis
Santos, Angel Santos, Hector Santos, Carmen Santos, and Ramon Santos. All of Puerto Rico. His wifes
siblings Tricia Culbertson and husband Leonard of Travelers Rest, SC, and Doug Cehlar of Southbridge
MA
He was predeceased by both of his parents, his sister Maria Santos, his grandson Francisco Santos III,
and recently his youngest son Christian Santos.
A private gathering will be held for family and close friends.
