Frances Josephine Royal was born on November 30th 1935 to the late Eddie Royal and Vernell Smith Royal. She passed away quietly at the St. Frances hospital in Greenville SC on October 23rd 2017.
She leaves behind to carry her torch of love three sons. Timothy Moore (Cynthia), Veardo Moore and Joseph Royal. One sister Doris Royal Brown and one brother William (Bill) Royal. Six grandchildren. Franchessica Thompson, Andre Royal, Dion Shaw, Devin Shaw, Kaylee Evatt, and Bradley Evatt. A host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter Elizabeth Renee Moore and Sister Anna V. Royal. She is also survived by a great host of friends.
Frances resided at 15 Mattison St. in Williamston, South Carolina. She was a faithful member of New Shady Grove Baptist Church in Pezer, South Carolina. She retired from Cushman Mill in Williamston where she had worked from 1974 to 1999. After her retirement she worked part time at the Ace Hardware Store in Williamston from 2002 to 2010 where she continued to touch the lives of the many patrons who frequented the store. She was a wonderful friend to all and a mother to all of the children who her path. All of her nieces and nephews were very close to her heart and there was a very special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
A memorial service for Ms. Frances Josephine Royal will be conducted at New Prospect Baptist Church, 916 Greenville Drive, Williamston, SC 29673. Friday October 27th 2017 at 2:00 PM.
