Francis A. Pittman

Francis (J.R.) A. Pittman, Jr. passed from this life on January 18, 2015.  He was born to the late Francis Pittman, Sr. and Irene Pittman Stewart.
During the course of his life, he lived it to the fullest.  He worked in many professions but his most loved were fire fighter and diesel mechanic.
He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Fran Santerli of the home; sisters, Carmen Pitt, Peggy McKinney (Jim), and Pat Diehl (Ron), all of the Greenville area; and his most precious niece, Mandi Scheller (Wesley) and their children, Alex, Christian, and Daisy in Sierra Vista, AZ.  Also surviving are his beloved dogs, Buddy, Lady, Bear, Olivia, Gabby and Baby.  He was predeceased by his mother, Irene Stewart and greatly admired stepfather Paul Stewart.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM, Thurday, January 22 at CSSC-Westville, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville.  The family will greet relatives and friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Pickens County Animal Shelter, Pickens, SC 29671.  The family will be at 140 Agnew Rd., Greenville.
