Frances (Nash) McIntyre,78, a loving and gentle person who embraced life, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at her residence in Easley, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Booker T. and Ruby Nash.
Frances, affectionately known as ‘Nanny’, is survived by her daughters Laverne Bailey (James) of Greenville and Brianna Gray of Simpsonville, along with her beloved granddaughter Kamera “Kammie” Bailey. Frances found immense joy in the company of her sisters Joann Brooks (Leon) of Greenville and Elease McKinney (Darrell) of Easley, brother Harry T. Frances symbolized her dedication to Jehovah on January 30, 1970. For 54 years, she faithfully put Jehovah first in her life. Her favorite scripture was Isaiah 41:10
“Do not be afraid, for I am with you.
Do not be anxious, for I am your God.
I will fortify you, yes, I will help you,
I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.”
This scripture became a source of comfort and strength as she continued to rely on Jehovah.
Frances' life was enriched by the love she shared with family and friends. She cherished associating with all the friends in the congregation. She enjoyed spending time engaging in the field ministry, going on shopping excursions, and lunch dates with her dear friend Dottie Reagan. Alongside her late husband Bob, Frances cultivated deep friendships and were especially fond of their friends Blake and Jeanette Battle. Her home was filled with warmth and reflected her love for decorating and creating beautiful floral arrangements, many from flowers she nurtured herself.
Frances McIntyre's legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever be remembered by all who shared a moment in her life.
