Frances Annette (Brunker) Lease, 68, passed away on September 17, 2024, in Greenville, SC. Born on June 12, 1956, Frances lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and dedication to her family. She grew up in Wisconsin, graduated from Sun Prairie Senior High School in 1974, and spent her adulthood between Wisconsin and Minnesota before relocating to the South to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren as well as escape the Midwest winters. 

Frances, diagnosed with Parkinson's in her later years, never let this challenge diminish her unyielding spirit. Her life was a testament to her loving nature, as she was always ready with a listening ear or a warm embrace for those she loved. She found joy in reading, exploring the outdoors, listening to music and spending quality time with her cherished friends and family. Many whom met her or her family may have heard the slogan used to refer to her as “Flease4Peace☮️” She was a spirited and kind soul who left a real mark on anyone whom met her. Frances will be dearly missed for decades to come. 

She leaves behind her children, Sommer Oslund, Joelle (Scott) Daigrepont, and John (Laura) Skalitzky; grandchildren Christian, Madison, Gavin, Blake Oslund, Emma, Elise, Owen Daigrepont, Jay and Grayson Skalitzky. Frances is also survived by her siblings, John (Melissa) Brunker, Joe (Gloria)Brunker, Donald Brunker, Kevin (Carrie) Brunker, Robert (Karen) Brunker, Matt (Sarah) Brunker, Mary Oathoudt, Sue (Mike) Soldner, Martha (Tom) Fisher, Lorie (Leo) Schweiss, and Lisa (Don) Kind. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dolores (Lease) Brunker.

A burial site service will be held on Sunday, October 13th at 1pm in St. Joseph's Cemetery, East Bristol, followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering, where friends and family can share memories and celebrate Frances's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions in memory of Frances be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation or National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI).
