Frances Anna Heath, 98, of Ninety Six, SC passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 17th, 2021. She was born January 30th, 1923 in Anderson, SC to her parents, the late Bethel Jones and Luddie Ivester Finley.
She will be missed by her daughter Frances Cuatt (Bill) of Greenwood, SC; her sister, Martha Riley of Ninety Six, SC; her eight grandchildren and her numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Anna was a proud Charter Member of Sandridge Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, SC. She instilled a great work ethic in her family, working long hours at the Saluda Hosery Mill in Saluda, SC. After retiring from the mill, she went to work as a Patient Care Giver, caring for folks at their respective homes. She did this for over 25 years, often caring for people who were younger than she was. She enjoyed the mountains and small trips to Florida with her niece Joy. But above all, she loved being home. She wouldn’t turn down a road trip though!
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Walter Howard Smith; her brothers, Wade Finley and Bobby Finley; and her sisters Willie Rhodes, Jennie Finley, and Ruby Jewel Finley.
Her visitation and viewing will be Wednesday, April 21st, 2 - 3 PM, with the funeral service to follow at Sandridge Baptist Church. She will be buried at the church cemetery following the service.
