Evon Schott, 72, of McCormick, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Born November 10, 1943 in Weeksbury, Kentucky, Evon was the daughter of the late Boid and Dessie Carter and beloved wife of 52 years of Bill Schott. Besides her husband, Evon is survived by her daughters Micheline Schott and Jennifer (Benjamin) Broadwater, grandchildren Jake and Macie Broadwater, and siblings Jackie Neubert, Donald (Nelda) Carter, Wilma (Ernest) Wagoner and Larry (Diane) Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jim Carter. Memorial gifts to HospiceCare of the Piedmont are suggested in lieu of flowers.
