Mrs. Evelyn Kathleen Clinton Penland

Mrs. Evelyn Kathleen Clinton Penland passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, last Saturday the 7th of April, 2018 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC. She was born Saturday, July 31st, 1926 in Barnardsville, NC to the late J. Myer and Darcus Effie Dillingham Clinton. She will be sadly missed by her children; Kim Wayne Penland of Pelzer, SC, Eileen Penland of Pelzer, SC, Darlene Newton and her husband, Michael of Williamston, SC, Lisa Burgess and her husband Robert of Pickens, SC, and Ruby Noote of Honea Path, SC, her five grandchildren; Charlie Burgess, Alex Penland, Justin Noote, Daniel Newton and Sally Burgess, and a great grandchild Harrison Burgess.
Along with parents, Mrs. Penland is predeceased by her husband Mr. Charles Ray Penland and all of her brothers and sisters.
