Eunice Welene Powell Bell, 91, went to her heavenly home Saturaday December 14, 2013.
She was born in the home in Piedmont, SC, on June 13,1922, to the late Cleo and Daisy Powell. She was the wife of the late Charlie Solomon Bell.
Eunice was a spinner at J.P Stevens, Piedmont Plant were at the age of 38 she left her employer due to declining health. At that point she became a full time housewife and mother.
Eunice was a beloved member of the community and could be found frequently making fudge for all the children. She was a dedicated member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Piedmont. She was a AKC breeder, specializing in Pomeranians.
Eunice is survived by two of her three children( Karlton Ray Lollis - Heavenly Home). V. Denise Bell Ausburn of Piedmont of SC, L. Darlene Bell Luker of Piedmont, SC. She also survived by five grandchildren, Dean Lollis, April Luker Hufflin, Richard S. Ausburn, Michael Luker, Sonya R. Ausburn Harrington. Also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Eunice is survived by one of her seven siblings, Thomas Powell of Pelzer, SC.
A private family viewing will be held at Westville Funeral Home, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville Wednesday, December 18 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Followed by vistation of family and friends from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at Greenville Memoral Gardens on Ausgusta Road in Greenville, with burial immediately following.
