Eugenio M. Ramos, age 87, of Pangasinan, Philippines has gone to sleep with the Lord on Sunday, May 27th, 2018. He was born on November 15, 1930 to the late Alejandro Ramos and Roberta Mararac. He grew up in the Philippines with his 4 brothers and 3 sisters and attended school there. He was the husband of Rosalina Ramos for 26 years and was predeceased by his 4 brothers, his 3 sisters, and his son Salvador Ramos.
Eugenio’s passion was cooking and worked as an International Chef in Saudi Arabia where he met his wife Rosalina. They both went back to the Philippines in 1987 and migrated to the U.S. and got married in New Jersey on February 11th, 1992. They lived with their daughter, Yvette Alejandro and son-in-law Allen Alejandro, and opened a Filipino Family Restaurant in New Jersey to continue his passion for culinary arts.
Upon retirement, they moved to Orlando, FL where they enjoyed the warm weather and gardening. They relocated to Boiling Springs, SC in 2008 following their granddaughter Mary Flores and son-in-law Vannderlhey Flores and their granddaughter Amanda Alejandro.
Eugenio was a loving husband to Rosalina and a loving stepfather to Yvette Alejandro of New Jersey, grandfather to Mary Flores of Boiling Springs, Amanda Alejandro of New Jersey, and Michael Alejandro for New Jersey. He also has grandchildren and great grandchildren in the Philippines.
Left to remember his unconditional love and his famous cooking are his great grandchildren Vannderlhey, Emmanuel, Sarah, and Isabel, children of granddaughter Mary Flores and grandson-in-law Vannderlhey Flores and Elijah and Zachariah, sons of his granddaughter Amanda Alejandro.
Eugenio also known as “Pops” will be greatly missed by all his loved ones.
