Errol Raymond Lambert, affectionately known as "E" to his friends and family, graced this world with his presence on December 11, 1973, in Brooklyn, NY. His radiant journey concluded on January 2, 2025, in Piedmont, SC, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and boundless generosity.
E's early years were shaped in Brooklyn, growing up in a vibrant and nurturing household. He was a proud graduate of Asheville High School, where he formed lasting bonds and honed his abilities to connect with those around him. Following his educational pursuits, E embarked on a meaningful and fulfilling career as a caregiver and Med-Tech at Adult Housing. His professional path was marked by a selfless dedication to the wellbeing of others, reflecting his innate capacity to offer comfort and support.
A man of many interests, E channeled his creative spirit into writing and performing music, often sharing his talents to the delight of all who listened. Sports were another great passion of his, and he remained a lifelong fan of the NY Giants and the UConn Huskies. E's imaginative flair extended to designing clothing, a hobby that paired seamlessly with his love for collecting comic books and Marvel figurines. Above all, time spent with his cherished family was what truly fueled his soul.
E will be lovingly remembered by his sons E.J. McAfee and Tyrae Johnson; his daughter Jasmine Rogers; his aunts Julianna Ingram, Alethea Collins, Paula Collins, and Amy Collins; his uncles Theodore Swinton, Benjamin Evans, Chris Collins, Eric Collins, Charles Johnson, and Alonzo Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends. E was predeceased by his beloved mother Oneida Swinton-Lambert and father Elmo Lambert.
Remembered as a thoughtful, generous, and creative presence, E's amazing sense of humor and capacity to give endlessly will continue to resonate with all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy is etched in cherished memories and the countless lives he touched with kindness.
