Ernest Frederick Brown

Ernest Frederick Brown passed away on October 16, 2021 after a long illness of COPD.
He was under Amedisys Home hospice taken care of by his wife Joan A. Brown, Kelly, Valerie and Audrey.

He was born in Northern New York State and graduated from Linton High School, Schenectady, NY 1972 . After graduation he joined the Army and served 4 years and was Honorably discharged.
He married and had 2 daughters, divorced and had another daughter. He moved to Fort Myers, Florida. He retired from Lee County Schools in Fort Myers, Florida in 2013. He previously worked at Florida Freezer. He later moved from North Fort Myers, Florida to Greenville, Sc in 2015.

He was a great singer and guitarist and had several bands. He continued his passion of singing and guitar playing after moving to Florida and singing Karaoke. He became President of Lee County Country Music Association. He won many awards and made many friends along the way.

He is survived by his loving wife Joan A Brown, of Greenville, SC, daughters Kateri Brown, Brenna Brown, and Ryann LaVigne,Grandson Colton Jameson all of upstate New York. Also survived by a sister Vickie [Anthony]Maiello, Nephew John F. Maiello of Latham, NY. a Niece Jennifer Wheeler, Nephew Brett Wheeler & Niece Ashley Wheeler, all in New York. Mother in law Loretta [pre-deceased Marko]Mikoch , Sister in law Darlene Mikoch, Brother in law Mark Mikoch. nephews Kyle and Matthew. He was predeceased by a Brother, Elvis Brown 1980, Father, Vernon Brown 2004, Mother, Evelyn Brown 2012; Sister, Sheila Wheeler 2018 and step-son, John E. Heeckt, III.

There will be no services. He will be cremated and placed with his wife in Ohio.
