Emily Ann Center

Emily Ann Center, 57, died peacefully in her home in Holly Springs, SC. She was born on May 22, 1964, in Greer, SC to Rebecca and Harold Arms. Emily was a graduate of Chapman High School.

Emily is survived by her mother Rebecca Arms, and her two children David Center (Shannon) and Derek Center (Kristen).

Emily’s sons were her greatest passion in life, and she cherished her time spent as their little league coach on the ball field. She was a wonderful mother who never hesitated to share a hilarious memory of raising her boys or an update on how proud she was of their accomplishments. Emily loved animals and always had a dog by her side. She especially doted on her granddog, Dallas. She enjoyed reading and always had a book recommendation at the ready. Emily thrived on live music and was an avid concertgoer. She was a foodie and loved trying new restaurants. She was an accomplished cook and was always happy to share what new recipe she was working on.

Emily touched many lives with her generosity and energetic spirit. She will be greatly missed.
