Elsie Leigh Coggins

Mrs. Elsie Leigh Coggins 91, of Marietta, SC, gained her “Heavenly Wings” on Sunday, June 21st, 2020 in the presence of her family. She was brought into this world on a Monday, April 1st, 1929 by her parents, the late Ansel Orr and Marie MacMakin Cooper in Marietta, SC.
Elsie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, Gary (Wanda) Coggins, Sheree (David) Kirby, Tony Coggins, Kimmi (Greg) O’Shields, Ansel Coggins and Tina Suratt.
Along with her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years R.C. Coggins and her children, Pamela Coggins, Robert Coggins and Randy Coggins, her 13 grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild.
Her love and care for her family was most obvious in her cooking.

She will be forever in our hearts and our memories.

Join us for a Visitation and Funeral Service Friday, June 26th at the Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals Chapel at 11am with an interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest, SC
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association the South Carolina Chapter.
