Geneva Ellison Broome, 83, passed away on March 9, 2013 at Easley Baptist Hospital.

She is the daughter of the late Heyward and Pearle Williams Ellison. She is also the wife of the late Thomas E. Broome Sr.

She made a career as a housewife and is also a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Diane) Broome Jr., Robbin (Sharon) Broome; a sister, Lila Pearson; grandchildren, Matthew Lawless, Mackenzie Lawless, Alexis Roy, Kerstin Simon, Adam Broome, and Justin Broome; great grandchildren, Chandler Lawless, Grayson Broome, Olivia Roy, and Lillian Roy.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is also predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia B. Simmons; her siblings, Sara Nay and Hoyt Ellison.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum chapel at 10 am. There will be a visitation with the family immediately following the service in the mausoleum.

The family will be at their respective homes.
