Elizabeth Marguerite Wilson

September 13, 1931 — August 5, 2013

Elizabeth Marguertite Wilson, loving wife, mother and grandmother, and the widow of Thomas Carl Wilson, Sr., went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2013.
Born in Startex, SC, she was a daughter of the late Sam and Violet Black Warden. Mrs. Wilson was retired from Greenville County Schools, where she was a lunchroom manager for over 25 years. She was a member of Westville Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Carla Wilson and her husband James of Anderson; four grandchildren, Wayne Vaughan of St. Stephen, Christopher Brown (Lina) of Fair Play, Thomas Wilson, III of Greenville, Shannon Williamson (Adam) of Liberty; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Pamela Hawkins (John) of Gurley, AL; and a brother L.E. "Butch" Warden (Martha) of Six Mile.
Predeceased were three children, Cheryl Vaughan, Deborah Wilson, Thomas C. Wilson, Jr.; one sister and one brother, Juanita Phillips, and Sam Gerald Warden.
Services will be held on Thur., Aug. 8 at Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 PM, with the funeral to follow at 2 PM. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery West.
