Elizabeth Kathleen (Warden) Layton

Elizabeth Kathleen Warden Layton , 51, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 24, 2016.  “Kathy” was the youngest of five, born in Greenville to the late Sam G. Warden and Patsy Glenn Warden.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Kay Metcalf.  Her memory will carry on through her two daughters, Candace Jordan and Alexis Layton of Piedmont;  two grandsons, Tripp and Blane Jordan; two sisters, Christi Metcalf and husband Joey of  Dacusville, Monie Hann and her husband David of Charlotte NC; and one brother, Max Warden and his wife Jenny of Myrtle Beach.   More than anything, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her daughters, her grandsons, her family and her friends.  She is cherished always and will be deeply missed.   Visitation and memorial services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. to be followed immediately by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Westville Funeral Home.  The family will be at the residence of her daughter Candace Jordan.
