Elizabeth Ann "Lisa" Ferguson, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2023. Born on October 7, 1962, in Taylors, South Carolina, Lisa was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. She passed away peacefully in Greenville, South Carolina, surrounded by her loving family.
Lisa was a devoted wife to her late husband, Gary Ferguson, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. She was a proud and loving mother to her son, Jonathan Burton, and his fiancée Rebekah Sanney. Lisa's joy was multiplied when she became a doting grandmother to her precious grandson, Atticus Burton. She was also a cherished sister to her late sister, Paula Roddy, and a beloved aunt to her nephew, Kenneth Roddy, his wife April, and their children Addilyn and Milley Roddy. Lisa was the daughter of the late Estee and Shirley Moore, who instilled in her a strong faith and love for the family.
Lisa spent her professional career at Canal Insurance Company, where she was known for her hard work, dedication, and kindness. She was an active member of her community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Lisa's involvement in various associations and organizations was a testament to her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
