Elizabeth Ann Bailey

Elizabeth Ann Bailey, lovingly known as Liz by her friends and family, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, at her birthplace of Greenville, SC, on November 12, 2024. Born on April 3, 1954, Liz was the daughter of the late John Jennings and Betty James.

Liz was a proud graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1973. She then attended the University of Florida where she obtained a dietician’s certification, a field in which she excelled through her interest in health and well-being. 

Always open and friendly, Liz enjoyed her friends, music, especially live concerts, films and reading a good book. Her love for animals, as well, echoed her trait of kindness that touched many who crossed her path.

Liz is survived by a daughter, Cristi Willis and her husband Mark; sister, Teresa Ezekiel, and her husband Kenneth; stepbrother, Jack James, along with a niece, and three nephews. Liz reunites with those who predeceased her: her father, John Jennings; her mother, Betty James; step-father Roy James; her sisters, Darlene Jennings and Denise Harts; and her stepsister, Joanie Dingess.
