Elfriede Westphal passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 following a brief illness at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born November 19, 1934 in Nuremberg Germany, she was 82 years old.
Elfie is survived by her sister Hetti and brother Gerhard, and many nieces and nephews all residing in Germany, and a dear friend Andre Frank.
Elfie will be remembered for her love of flowers and gardening as evidenced by her lovely yard.
A memorial service honoring Elfie will be held Thursday, September 21 at 4:00 at St John's Lutheran Church .
Internment will take place at a later date in Germany.
