Elam Stuart

Elam Stuart, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 77 in Greenville, SC. Born on December 31, 1946 in Austell, GA, Elam's life was a testament to his resilience, humor, and adventurous spirit.

Elam proudly served his country in the Air Force, a period of his life that shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and discipline. He was the previous owner of A Carolina Siding Company, specializing in siding, windows, and metal roofing installations. His work not only showcased his craftsmanship but also his dedication to helping others improve their homes and lives.

An Eagle Scout in his youth, Elam carried the values of the Scouts throughout his life, leading by example and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Elam's love for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. He was happiest when he was fishing, camping, or tending to his garden. 

He is survived by his loving daughter, Alicia Stuart; his brother, Fred Stuart and sister-in-law Kathy; and his grandsons, Brett Stuart and Connor Baldwin. Elam was preceded in death by his siblings, Nora Clark and James Stuart, and his sons, Dallas Stuart and Jason Stuart.

Elam's life was a journey filled with joy, laughter, and the occasional fish tale. His funny anecdotes, adventurous escapades, and handy skills will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and the many lives he touched with his generous spirit.

As we bid farewell to Elam Stuart, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved. His memory will continue to inspire us to embrace life with the same vigor and enthusiasm that he did every day.
