Effie Holcomb

Effie Holcomb, 63, of Wellford, SC, passed away on February 25, 2023. She was the daughter of George James Hammond and Livona Martha Wells, born in Glens Falls, NY, on March 17, 1959. Effie is survived by her daughters: Tabitha Ransonet and Samantha Fish; brothers: Richard Hammond and Samuel Hammond; and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Laurel Ray Holcomb. Effie was employed with H&R Block for ten years as the office manager. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and shopping. Effie will be greatly missed and loved by her friends and family she left behind, but will never be forgotten.
