Walter Edward Smith, Sr., 83, beloved husband of Mamie Roberson Smith, went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2015.
Services will be on Monday, October 19, 2015 at CSSC-WESTVILLE FUNERALS, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC, 20611. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 PM, with the funeral at 2 PM in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery West. Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home on Monday, October 19 after 9 AM.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 62 years are five children, Shelby Sorrells and husband Rick, Rebecca Alexander and husband Charles, Walter Edward Smith, Jr., Rodger Smith, and Travis Smith; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
