Edward L. Hayes Sr

Mr. Edward L. Hayes Sr. of Fountain Inn, SC., passed away Friday 26th of May 2023, He passed away peacefully at his home. He was a Korean War veteran. Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Mrs. Julia F. Hayes and their infant son Walter John Hayes. He is survived by his two sons John Hayes (Jeanne) and Ed L. Hayes (Sherry); and four grandchildren: T.J Hayes (Crystal), Sierra Hayes, Kia Hayes (Troy), and Caleb Hayes (Julia), and twelve great-grandchildren. There will not be a service upon his request. He will be buried at the Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC. If anyone would like to make a donation to the charity of his choice, make them to The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.
