Edith " Renee " Miller

Edith " Renee " Miller, 67, of Laurens, South Carolina, passed from this life on Friday, March 17, 2017 in Greenville, South Carolina.  Born on April 14, 1949 in Elkins, West Virginia to her parents, William Russell Clingerman and June Elizabeth ( Waybright ) Clingerman, she lived in South Carolina for the last 7 years and had previously lived in East Lake, Ohio.  Renee worked as a Heat Quartz Lathe Operator for General Electric in the Willoughby Quartz Plant in Ohio.  She managed to make work and joy of normally difficult tasks in her work and she became well respected while doing so.  She did enjoy playing golf and excelled at doing so, she also enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool and spending time with her family.

Renee is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lyn Clingerman.  Those who will most cherish her memory are her loving husband of 27 years, Wesley S. Miller of Laurens, South Carolina; her sons, Chuck Sponaugle and his wife, Heather of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Andy Sponaugle and his wife, Cristie of Greer, South Carolina; her brother, Rusty Clingerman and fiancee, Monika Mickey of Belington, West Virginia; her four grandchildren, Mason, Daniel, Andrew and Benjamin; her nephews, Joshua Clingerman and Braydon Moore.
