Eddie Charles Cox

Eddie Charles Cox, age 69, of Belton, SC, passed away on April 2, 2021. Born in Greenville, SC, he was the youngest son of 3 boys, born to the late William Ode and Mary Louise Cox.
Eddie is survived by his wife Kathy, son David (with wife Jocelyn), his brother Ronnie, several nieces and nephews and 2 step-grandchildren.
Eddie graduated from Greenville Senior High School in 1969. He retired from the U. S. Navy after 20 years as a Chief Petty Officer Aviation Ordanceman. After retirement, he was employed with Lockheed Martin Company and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as an Aviation Quality Assurance Inspector and retired in 2015.
He enjoyed hunting, reading, playing musical instruments, genealogy and spending time with his family and friends. Eddie was an active member of the Grove Station Masonic Lodge.
Eddie Cox will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing and meeting him, as he always had a cheerful personality and never met a stranger.
