Dwayne Lester

Dwayne Lester, age 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Piedmont, SC, on August 8, 2021. He was born on September 16, 1964, to his late parents, Earnel and Adleen Lester. Dwayne was a 1982 graduate of Council High School. He was also a member of the Monaghan Lodge #251 Greenville, SC. He was employed by General Electric Turbine for 33 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Parker Lester and Ival Lester; and sister Rita Sue Harris.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Pamela Lester, of 23 years. His daughter Haley Newton (Jeremy), stepson Chaz Wood, brother Darell Lester (Deborah), sisters Janet O'Neal(Tony), Anita Holman, Holly Barton; brother in law, Garrett Harris, several nieces and two nephews, great-nieces and nephews. His in-laws, Billy and Jan Williams.
Dwayne was a wonderful man and will be truly missed by all. Masonic Rites followed by a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 1pm, at Pathway Church, 327 Mountain Springs Rd., Piedmont, SC 29673.
