Duree Sellers was born to the late Horace and Paralee Sellers in Easley, SC on August 12, 1938. The last few months of his life, Duree fought various illnesses, and on February 8th, 2022 at Powdersville-Post Acute Nursing Home, Duree entered his heavenly home. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed sharing his love of carpentry by building churches in various countries.
Duree was blessed with a loving family. He was married to the late Gail Sellers, with whom he enjoyed attending and serving in their church. He was also predeceased by his parents and four siblings, Boyd Sellers, Margie Mobley, Doris Myers, and Leon Sellers. Duree is survived by his brother Larry Sellers and sister Barbara Orr. by his children Dale(Gina) Sellers, Kathie (Mike)Suttles, and Cheryl Brannon. He also is survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Duree served in the National Guard. He also traveled on many short-term mission trips, local and abroad, with Siloam Baptist(Easley, SC) and Hoffmeyer Road Baptist Church(Florence, SC) and with the organization Carpenters for Christ. Duree and his late wife Gail spent a year serving the precious people of Trinidad and Tobago.
On February 18th at 11:00 am, the family will host a Celebration of Duree and his life at Siloam Baptist Church: 229 Siloam Church Road Easley SC 29642
