Douglas Joseph Wayman

Douglas J. Wayman, affectionately known as Doug, departed this world on December 31, 2024, at the age of 69, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Born on July 19, 1955, in Binghamton, New York, Doug lived a life marked by kindness, touching the lives of many with his benevolent spirit.

Doug was the cherished brother of ten siblings, with whom he shared countless precious memories, and was predeceased by both his parents, Hayes and Laura Wayman and also his brother William. His legacy of warmth and love is carried on through his siblings Mary Johns, Angela and Mark Olson, Gerald and Sue, Paul and Debbie, John and Glenda, Lawrence and Dawn, Harold and Janet, Richard and Nancy and Thomas Wayman.

His journey on earth may have concluded, but Doug's timeless generosity and gentle soul will forever resonate with those who were privileged to know him. He will be profoundly missed yet lovingly remembered as a beacon of kindness in the hearts of his family and friends.
