Douglas Joe " Doug " Fugate

Douglas Joe “ Doug “ Fugate, 55, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on July 26, 1961 in Barstow, California to his parents, Bobby Joe Fugate and Lois (Brown) Fugate, he was a lifelong resident of South Carolina and he worked as a Carpenter in the Construction Industry for Moorhead Construction.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Deborah Fugate of Fountain Inn; his daughters, Alisha Lott and husband, Jason of Fountain Inn and Kimberly Chandler and husband, Gary of Slabtown, South Carolina; his son, Douglas Fugate, Jr. of Clinton, South Carolina; his sisters, Lisa Welborn and her boyfriend, Rich of Greenville and Karen Lewis of Piedmont, South Carolina; his brother, Bobby Fugate and his wife, Dee of Florence, South Carolina; his sister - in – law, Jerri Smith and her husband, Jimmy of Fountain Inn; his six grandchildren as well as members of his extended family.

A gathering of Doug’s family and friends will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Cremation Society of South Carolina - Westville Funerals , 328 Dupont Drive in Greenville. Services to remember and honor his life will be at 2:00 PM in the Dupont Chapel.
