Mrs. Dorothy Phyllis Wagner passed away at home in Campobello, SC on April 15, 2021, with her family all close by. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert Lee Wagner Jr, and Michael Phillip Wagner, and the love of her life for 48 years, Robert Lee Wagner Sr. She is survived by her four adult children, Linda Hogan (Greg), Ankara AB, Turkey; Terri Dunipace (Gordan), Toledo, Ohio; Larry Wagner (Karen), Campobello, SC; Philip Wagner (Norma), Lyman, SC; 12 Grandchildren: Rob (Jenny), Tammi, Michelle (Chris), Timothy (Deniz), Joseph, Elizabeth (Jared), David (Lauren), Brittany (Bryan), Michael, Danny, Natalie, Robert, and 13 Great-Grandchildren, Remy, Jacob, Alysa, Sally, Andrew, Aiden, Jordan, Ava, Angelica, Brynlee, Adelynn; Everly, and Denver.
Phyllis grew up in a loving family with her parents Wilfred, and Ethel Gress, Detroit, Michigan, two younger sisters, Norma MacKinley (Don) of Northville, Michigan, and Velma Thornhill, (Edward) of Livonia, Michigan, and her many niece’s, and nephews and 3 great-nephews.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Cremation Society of South Carolina, Westville Funerals.
Her Church service will be held on Thursday, April 22, at 7:00 pm at Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, SC. where Phyllis was a member for many years. The service will be led by Pastor Dr. Reggie Parker.
