Dorothy Dill Johnson, 83, passed away on April 17, 2013 surrounded by her family.
She is the daughter of the late James Monroe and Allie Jeanette Willis Dill. She is also the wife of the late John E. Johnson.
She was a homemaker, attended Parker High School, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters Jackie Cole Gagner (Eugene), Pamela Horton (Fuller), and Cynthia Volzka, Keith Volzka; a sister Jeanette Burchette; grandchildren Kevin Cole, Becky Holloway, Colleen Cole (Daniel), Christopher Cole (Cassie), Jennifer Johnson, Stephanie Baker (Wayne), Allie Butler (Charles), Jack Butler (Ariel), and John Horton; 20 great grandchildren; 6 ½ great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by a brother James Thomas Dill, a grandchild Shawn Volzka, and a brother-in-law William S. Burchette.
Funeral services will be on Saturday April 20, 2013 at 2pm in the chapel of Westville Funerals and Cremations. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 1 pm until 2pm. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Travelers Rest.
In addition to her family she will be missed by her lifelong friends – Mary Louise Fendley and Joyce Evans.
