Doris Myrtle (Adams) Knisley, 89, Greer, widow of Lowell (Bud) Knisley, fell asleep in death on July 13, 2021. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 67 years, she attended the North Simpsonville Congregation.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bud, sisters, Ruth Liddy, Bernice Lewis, brother, Arthur Adams, daughter, Marilyn Clogston, great-granddaughter, Amber, and step-great grandson, Eric.
She was born February 5, 1932, in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and is survived by a brother, Donald Adams, Palm Springs, California, daughters, Susan Johnson, Spartanburg, Sharon McDonald, Greer, and a special niece, Andrea Collver, Greer, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandbaby on the way and 2 step-great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service, conducted by Ken Miller, will be held virtually on July 24th at 5 pm. Donations can be made to JW.org towards our worldwide work.
