She was predeceased by her spouses, Fred Funk of West Virginia, Bernard Price of Clarksburg, West Virginia, and Donald Wardlaw of South Carolina, as well as her son, David Funk, and her sister, Joanne Wiles. Donna's legacy of love continues through her children, Fred Funk Jr. (Jenny) of Halifax, Virginia, Deborah Lanham (Greg) of Greer, South Carolina, Robert Funk (Melissa) of Easley, South Carolina, Larry Funk (Nancy) of Greer, South Carolina, and Sharon Griffith (Robin) of Greenville, South Carolina, and her siblings, Edith Mayle, Jim McCray, Charlie McCray, Joyce Lewis, and Dale McCray, all of West Virginia. Her life was further enriched by her 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her lessons of compassion and joy.
Donna's professional life as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) was a clear reflection of her innate desire to help those in need.
