Donna Jean Nead

Donna Jean Nead, age 69, passed away peacefully at home October 7, 2022 following a
long, but well fought battle with leukemia. She was born November 22, 1952 in Altoona,
Pennsylvania to Ralph W Rudy and Malvina W Crider. She married Bart D Nead, Jr in
December of 1980 who preceded her in death September 17, 2022. Donna is survived by her brother William C Rudy and wife Joyce; brother James W Rudy and wife Diane; 3 nieces; 2 nephews and her many great neices and great nephews. All of whom she loved and touched deeply.
Donna and Bart loved the outdoors. They spent many years owning and managing Dogwood RV Park in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Donna loved to love people. She was always kind and mild-mannered. Most everyone she met became a loving friend and she will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Donna lived each day by her faith and always strived to do what’s right and do what’s good. To be kind and help others. She lived by the fact the world can always use one more kind person. It suited her servant heart. Donna's favorite quote was "We can't add more days to our lives. But we can ask God to add more life to our days". Unknown author
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse; Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind
and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in
Christ.” Her pets Zoey and Orville will miss her constant loving care spoiling them daily. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses at Easley Baptist, Greenville Memorial hospitals and Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills. Donna's sense of humor always kept them laughing.
