Donna Laffey

Donna Laffey, a beacon of love and creativity, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024, at her home in Wellford, SC, at the age of 62. Born on October 31, 1961, Donna's life was characterized by her loving nature, thoughtfulness towards others, and her boundless creativity which she expressed through her passion for crocheting and knitting.

Donna, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, is survived by her adoring sons, Keith Govoni and Pat Hilley; her devoted brother, Keith Laffey; and her beloved grandchildren, Jensen Murphy, Allen Krause, and Joselynn Krause. Her kind spirit and gentle guidance will be profoundly missed by each of them. The memory of her deceased parents, George and Elizabeth Laffey, was a constant source of strength and inspiration throughout her life.

Throughout her time with us, Donna wove a tapestry of love and care that enveloped her family and friends. Her hands, always busy with yarn and needles, created not only beautiful garments but also warm memories that will clothe her loved ones in comfort for years to come. Her grandchildren, in particular, were the recipients of her knitted hugs, each stitch a testament to her love for them.
