Donald B. Wright

Donald B. Wright, 71, beloved husband of Carolyn Shockley Wright, passed away from years of declining health on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late W.C. and Floretta B. Wright. Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Cheryl Wright Lee (David) of Greenville; a step-daughter, Tamarra Barr (Darrell) of Powdersville; six grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Leo Wright of Liberty, and Cleo Wright of Iva. Predeceased were a brother and sister, James Wright and Annie Bobo. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29680. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation Society of South Carolina
