Dennis Barnes, 67 of Travelers Rest, loving husband of Linda Hester Barnes of 46 years, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his home.
Born on July 17, 1948 in Greenville, he was the son of the late George and Louise Taylor Barnes. He was a US Army veteran and building contractor. He retired in 2009.
Along with his wife, Mr. Barnes is survived by two children, Allison Barnes of Atlanta, GA and Jason Barnes of Travelers Rest, one sister and 6 brothers.
Mr. Barnes was also predeceased by one sister, Diane Barnes Flarity.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 1 p.m. at The Cremation Society of South Carolina-Westville Chapel, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611.
