Denis Arden Church, 82, of Greenville, SC passed away on December 18, 2018. He was born on May 4, 1936 in Schenectady, NY. to Charles Arden Church and Elsa Kjolseth Church. Denis is survived by his wife, Christa Hickisch Church.
Raised in Scotia, NY and Erie PA., he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving eight years in airborne units and twelve years of subsequent service with the Army.
Mr. Church relocated from Schenectady, NY to Greenville, SC to work for the GE Company where he worked for many years.
In addition to his wife other survivors include his daughter; Carol Ann Daley of Birdsboro, PA. and son Matthew Arden Church of Greenville, SC, sister Christine Gimpel of Bowie, MD, brother Alan Church of Fernandina Beach, FL., in addition to the three grand daughters: Erika Daley, Andrea Daley and Christa Daley.
The interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Miracle Hill Ministries.
