Debra Janine Snuggs Acker

Debra Janine Snuggs Acker passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 66 in Greenville, SC. A grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and fiancé, Debra leaves behind a family of people that love her and will miss her spitfire.

Debra, born in North Carolina to Erma Jean and Ellis Hoosier Snuggs, was an adorable little girl who pushed her baby brother, Scott, around in a carriage between playing outside with her three brothers and neighborhood kids. She grew up to love puzzles, crime shows, and Diet Pepsi and had wizardry with numbers that she passed on to her oldest daughter, Stacy.

Debra, loved as DeDe by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaves behind her children Stacy, Stephanie, and Jason, her fiancé Joe, brothers Scott, Brian, and James, sister-in-law Christy, her best friend Debra, and a family of cousins, nephews, nieces, grand and great-grandchildren, and friends that loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the McCall House hospice in Simpsonville, SC. They took amazing care of her in the last moments and her family will be forever grateful.
