Debbie Lynn Chapman

May 25, 1961 — April 26, 2024

Easley, SC

Debbie Lynn Chapman, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on April 26th, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. She was born in Easley, South Carolina on May 25th, 1961, to her loving parents Doris Holcombe and James Gravely. Debbie’s passing has left a void in the lives of those who loved her the most. Her mother Doris, husband Danny, daughter Amanda, son-in-law Cam, grandchildren Eli and Kylie, sister Tina, nieces and nephews, Ansley, Gavin, Cory, and Jesse. She was preceded in death by her father James, and sisters Jane and Linda.

Debbie will be remembered as a loving and caring person who touched the lives of all those around her. She was of Baptist faith and stood strong in her faith during her journey. She enjoyed baking and cooking holiday treats for her family. There was never a holiday missed. She was the candy cooking instructor always giving recipes and directions over and over again. She also enjoyed spending countless hours working on jigsaw puzzles with her daughter looking for that last piece that her husband hid. She loved watching Wheel of Fortune, Little House on The Prairie, and Gunsmoke. When the weather was warm, and the sun was shining she loved yard selling and chatting with her besties, Linda, Tina, and William. There was nothing she loved more than sitting on her rocking chair beside her husband Danny and watching her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews play in their garden in the dirt.

Debbie had the most beautiful shy smile and brown eyes that shined anytime she was talking about her family. Her heart was full of love, compassion, grace, and gratitude. She will be missed by all that new her.

There will be a Celebration of Debbie’s life on May 19th , 2024. Time and Place will be sent out to friends and family.
