David Moore

David was born August 8, 1955 to Lloyd Samuel Moore, Sr. and Mazie Thompson Moore of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  He attended schools in his home town, graduating from Moultrie High School in 1973.  He was a member of the Moultrie Generals Band.  After high school, he attended Midlands Tech in Columbia to become a heavy equipment operator.  He pursued this line of work in and around Orange County, Virginia for many years both, in quarry work and in heavy construction.  He retired there and later relocated to Woodruff, South Carolina to live with his long-time companion Bobbi Jo Celli and friend Tim Sheetz.  He passed away at Parham Medical Center November 16, 2015 after a long bout with cancer.

David is survived by his brother Rick Moore (Carole) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister Mimi Wise (Beau) of Isle of Palms, SC; nieces Lynne Chance (Sam) of Holly Hill, SC, Debbie Moore of Mt. Pleasant and Corrine Fantz (Doug) of Decatur, GA; nephews Rich Moore (Maureen) of West Hills, CA, Andy Wise (Stacy) of Columbia, SC and Tim Wells of Charleston, SC as well as an extended family and by his companion Bobbi Jo Celli and his housemate Tim Sheetz.  He was predeceased by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law Lloyd and Ann Moore and his nephew Michael late of Holly Hill, SC and nephew Jay Wise late of Isle of Palms, SC.
