David Alvin Koffler "Mouse" ,70, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019.
A native of Wooburn, Oregon, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Helena M Faulhaber Koffler, a retired employee of Christopher Trucks and a believer in Jesus Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine Crump Koffler, of the home; three sons, David A. Koffler Jr. (Ruby Ann) of Carolina Shores, NC, Michael Wayne Simpson (Mary) of Troutman, NC and Derald Black (Amanda) of Spartanburg, SC; one daughter, Tracy Miles (Aaron) of Jefferson, SC, four grand children; three great-grandchildren and mother in law, Betty Clark.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Kristina Marie Koffler; one brother, Jerry Koffler and one sister, Cathy Maldanado.
Families and friends will meet to celebrate his life at a later date.
David was very instrumental in the expansion of the Rettew House. He was a supporter of the Rettew House because of there help to foster handicap children.
