David Wayne Greer

David Wayne Greer, 58, of Slater, South Carolina, passed from this life suddenly on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on April 26, 1960 in Windsor, Missouri to his parents, Paul Truman Greer and Wanda Jean Shillings Greer, he was a longtime resident of the upstate and he worked as a utility worker in the cafeteria industry. David will be remembered for his easy going personality and his heart of gold. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Cindy Martin, and Paul Greer. Those who will most cherish his memory are his sisters, Beth A. Moore and Terri Murray both of Slater, South Carolina; his niece, Jennifer Martin; his nephews, Chad Moore, Shaun Radford and Brian Roberts.

A private family gathering is to be held at a later date.
