David Ray Graydon, Jr., 71, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on June 14, 2024. He was born
December 5, 1952, to the late David Ray Graydon, Sr., and Jewell Vickery Graydon, in Greenville, South
Carolina. Surviving are his sister, Elizabeth Peery (Tom), and his nieces and nephew, Erin, Emily, Elissa,
and Jake Peery.
He received a degree from Clemson University in Building Construction, and an MBA from the joint
Clemson/Furman Program. He also received the designation of MAI from The Appraisal Institute. He was
associated with Wilkins Norwood and Company as a commercial appraiser for 35 years.
He loved spending time with friends, traveling, and visiting the National Parks. He visited almost every
state in the country. He also enjoyed collecting coins and attending Clemson games.
The funeral will be held at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church at 207 Mitchell Road, Greenville, South
Carolina at 1:30 pm on Wednesday June 19, 2024. The service will also be streamed live on the Mitchell
Road Presbyterian Church (MRPC) YouTube Site. Visitation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association. He suffered from this disease longer than we
realized. We feel at peace knowing that he is suffering no longer and his home in heaven with his Savior,
Jesus Christ.
