David Roy Fulton

David Roy Fulton, a loving and friendly soul, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023, in Greenville, SC. Born on April 17, 1944, in Travelers Rest, SC, David was known for his jovial spirit and his ability to light up any room with his humor.

David was a devoted husband to his wife, Charlotte Fulton, and a loving father to his children, Carol (Scott) Vesey, Christopher (Jennifer) Fellenger, Eric (Valerie) Fellenger, and the late David Fulton, Jr. He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Allie Mae Fulton, his brother Jimmy Fulton, his sister JoAnn Fulton Gilmer and Debbie (Fulton) Rathburn living sister. David is survived by his brother Bud Fulton, his sister Nancy (Belica) Fulton, his grandchildren David (Lex) Burgermyer, Sarah Moore, Erica Fellenger, Amanda Jurasin, Steve Jurasin, Alicia York, and his seven great-grandchildren.

David was a dedicated member of the United Steel Workers and was known for his hard work and commitment. After his retirement, he found joy in working as a handyman, a job that allowed him to utilize his skills and interact with people, something he truly loved. His friendly nature and his ability to connect with people made him a favorite in his community.

A passionate sports enthusiast, David was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Guardians. He found great joy in watching NASCAR races and was a dedicated follower of Dale Earnhardt. His love for sports extended to the golf course, where he spent many enjoyable hours. David was also a skilled billiards player, and his friends and family will fondly remember the many fun-filled evenings spent around the pool table.

David's love for his family was evident in everything he did. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones, and his home was always filled with laughter and love. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of his eye, and he took great pride in their achievements. His family will remember him as a pillar of strength, a source of endless laughter, and a man who loved unconditionally.
