David Bird, a cherished husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, in Spartanburg, SC with his wife by his side, at the age of 62. Born on January 20, 1963, in the beautiful city of Honolulu, Hawaii, David's life was a tapestry of love, intelligence, and gentle kindness that touched everyone he knew.

David's journey through life was shared with his devoted wife of 40 years, Patricia Bird, who stood by him through every chapter of their lives together. Though predeceased by his parents, Mary and Charles Bird, and his beloved son, Brent Harris, David's legacy continues through his siblings: Margaret Bird, Rebecca Ruhl and her husband Michael, Elizabeth O'Neal and her husband Matthew, Andrew Bird, and Robert Bird and his wife Jennifer. His memory will also be cherished by his nieces and nephews: Kaitlyn Ruhl-Pirone and her husband, Trevor Ruhl, Ian Bird, Lola Bird, Matthew Coccaro, Margaret O'Neal, Trinity Kerr, Tyler Kerr, Mary-Ella Bird, and Landon Bird, all of whom he adored.

David's professional life was dedicated to the manufacturing industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. His colleagues respected him for his intelligence and his ability to lead with both firmness and compassion.
